WEEK 2: Choose the Best Search for Your Information Need

Hello  everyone,
I am completely sure this  week  was so  helpful to everybody. First, I want to share with you that I used to search in Google because I believe that it was an important search engine to find information that I needed or wanted for doing homework, projects,  etc.  Now  I try something different from Google and I have to say that I really loved it. Going through Noodletools took me lots of time because I found so many different options that we can use in our classes and in our personal and professional growth.  For example the following search engines are most useful for me iSeek Education, SweetSearch, and Kids.yahoo., Video Search Engine: http://www.blinkx.com/
Resources For ESL students:http://www.manythings.org/,
Dictionaries: http://www.onelook.com/ because  this kind of search  engines will help us improve our environmental teaching in class, because through this I can teach my students English language and encourage them at the same time for learning using new tools in order to keep in our students the main objective of the teaching - learning process.
In order to answer the questions of Robert , How I might apply it in my teaching? I could say that I will use the ABCD model  because it is going to be the best model  I can apply in learning process with my students. I embed the URL; http://ets.tlt.psu.edu/learningdesign/objectives/writingobjectives/
Finally, I never know that there are lots of web search engines as the list .People can get wrong or worthless facts or information, and this is the importance of looking for different search engines which make students and teachers realize that around the world exists a wide range of important and interesting information.
